Pepco - Vegetation Management Program 2023
Pepco recently presented to the Mayor and Town Council their upcoming Vegetation Management Program to remove vegetation that presents a hazard to their power lines. Pepco conducts this vegetation management every 4 years to help reduce power outages. Vegetation management includes pruning and removal of some trees. Pepco only shares and reviews public trees that are in the public right-of-way with the Town. Private trees are discussed directly with the property owners.
Pepco reviewed the proposed work with the Town Arborist. Below you will find a link to Pepco's overall plan, as well as charts listing the tree removals and reports from the Town Arborist on the tree removals.

Pepco plans to start this work on or about the week of October 23, 2023. Pepco does plan to send in locations where work will be done, so that the Town can post periodic News and Announcements to update residents of the work locations.
