  1. Review and approve previous meeting minutes
    1. Approved
2. Old business
  1. Planning board documents and Google group
    1. Dropbox account being created by the town and Margaret will transfer all documents download from the Yahoo Group.
  2. Membership document
    1. Membership document reviewed by Councilmembers with Margaret.  Discussion by Council included the recommendation of including a statement of Diversity. There is a desire by the Council to have greater awareness of who is on the Planning Board.
  3. Thematic worksessions
    1. Long term goal of the Board is to hold thematic worksessions to focus on priority topics.  Current priority of the Planning Board is the development of the Hospital site.
  4. Development activity—Smithfield
    1. Shelia Salo reviewed the new development “Washington Gateway” with entrance off Columbia Park Rd.  The plan shows a long linear building to be used as warehouse.  Amazon has an agreement with this site and program anticipates trucks in and out. Environmental concern as new road is up against stream buffer. There is a new road proposed and appears to be 80’, which is quite large.  Stormwater facility outfall has the potential to impact downstream Cheverly. County Planning Board Hearing is scheduled on July 16, 2020.  The Cheberly Planning Board shall draft a memo with suggestions and recommendations to Council prior to the public hearing. Topics to include and explore further are the environmental impact, storm water management, concerns about paper street and proximity to Boyd Park.  Fred Price explained that there is construction in progress already in Boyd Park trails.
    2.  RJ noted that COVID has increased the need for transportation accessible warehouse space.
