3. Development Notifications
a. 5801 Arbor Street DSP Status
- Town submitted the Planning Board’s recommendation to follow recommendations in the Cheverly Sector Plan.
- The case is still under review and there has been an extension.
b. Craftsman Circle (Case # 5-22061) Application
- Still looking for additional information.
4. 10-Year Strategic Plan for Joint Development (December Presentation)
a. Follow-Up Questions for WMATA
- How can the Cheverly Sector Plan be used by the Town and advocacy groups to map out next steps for development.
- Need to be working together to advance projects that increase ridership!
5. Monthly Updates
a. Master Plan of Transportation
b. Trail Connections
- Town of Cheverly submitted a letter request with Bladensburg and Councilmember Ivey to SHA to study the feasibility of 3 potential trail connections. SHA agreed to formally evaluate 2 of the routes and will be ready by end of spring 2023.
- Newton Street is already very narrow in Cheverly, how would that work?
c. Hospital Hill Redevelopment

- There is an upcoming Air Quality Monitoring meeting in DC
