  1. Welcome
  2. Review and Approve January 2022 Minutes
    1. Minutes approved
  3. Countywide Map Amendment
    1. Joyce spoke to Chad Williams regarding proposal
    2. Boyd park and other zoning was changed to “reserved open”
    3. Action Item: Confirm the property owner of parcel RSF-65 for development around Cheverly Metro
  4. Hospital Hill Redevelopment
    1. Margaret attended a meeting to discuss the development
    2. Discussion- Should there or should there not be a bike/walk connection to development? Should Cheverly make its town center in the new development? Need for a road that would allow Cheverly residents to access the development.
    3. Action Item: Joyce will circulate recommendations
  5. Master Plan of Transportation and Trail Connections
    1. Margaret provided feedback on plan
    2. Draft MPOT plan will be available November 2022
    3. Action: PB member to participate in Office Hours with M-NCPPC
  6. Planning Board New Initiatives
    1. Surplus Properties
      1. Action: Joyce will request a list
    2. Industrial Park Outreach
      1. This could be a heavy lift and we need to determine what we want to get out of it
      2. Action Item: Discuss next month in further detail
  7. Other Updates
    1. Cheverly Strategic Plan 
      1. Recommendations are being incorporated into document
    2. Addison Row DSP-17023-03
      1. Norman Rivera, attorney for project, provided an update
      2. Project is to redevelop former food distribution site, which was rezoned for mixed use
      3. Phase One- Ongoing, 321 apartments/multifamily units have been built, approximately 40% occupancy
      4. Phase Two- Planned, 327 apartments/multifamily units
      5. Phase Three- TBD, Retail and Commercial space
      6. Discussion- Should the PB make a recommendation to create a path to Cheverly Metro Station?
      7. Action Item: Speak to Mayor and Council about potentially creating a path from development to Cheverly Metro
    3. Sustainable Communities Application
      1. This is being managed by Town
    4. 1201 Claybrick Road NEPA Process
      1. DDOT working on a scope of work to be completed in April and will talk to us at that time
