      1. The following people are interested in joining the Planning Board: Jordan Exantus, Reba Corrine Thomas, Mike Clauser, Christopher Wade, Steven Johnson and Heni Sanford 
  3. WMATA 10-Year Strategic Plan for Joint Development Presentation
    1. Steven Segerlin with WMATA presented the agencies 10-year Strategic Plan for Joint Development.
    2. WMATA conducted a housing feasibility study as part of the planning effort and learned that mid-rise residential is not feasible at stations like Cheverly Metro without subsidies. A solar panel farm being implemented at Cheverly Metro in the near-term.
    3. Participants gave feedback that we should explore EV charging infrastructure in/around Cheverly Metro, find ways to better connect industrial workers (Amazon) to transit, and brainstorm ways to relate Cheverly Metro to Hospital Hill.
  4. 5801 Arbor Street DSP Recommendation
    1. The DSP request to maintain industrial land uses on this property is not consistent with the Sector Plan or mixed-use zoning designation along Arbor Street. 
    2. Joyce will follow-up with Dylan and the Mayor regarding the Cheverly Planning Board’s interest in supporting land use decisions that align with the Cheverly Sector Plan.  
  5. Other Updates
    1. There’s a new application on Craftsman Circle (Case # 5-22061) which members of the Cheverly Planning Board will investigate.
