Washington Gas Work on Cheverly Avenue

A Washington Gas contractor, Ferguson Trenching Company, will be performing a new gas installation in the 3000 Block of Cheverly Avenue beginning on or about March 16, 2022, weather permitting. The project is anticipated to take one to two days. This work will involve traffic control to allow the installation crew access across Cheverly Avenue. Traffic control set up will start at 8:30 am, with construction starting at 9:00 am. Please expect some traffic delays.
