Virtual Public Meeting to Preview New Public Meeting Space in William Eley, Jr. Building

Hear ye, hear ye – All are welcome to attend a virtual meeting on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to preview the draft preliminary plan for new public meeting space in the proposed William Eley, Jr. Building. This meeting will be hosted by Keller Construction Management, the Town’s Design Build partner in this project. This will be a Microsoft Teams (virtual) meeting, and the link is below. Please note, you may have to download the Teams app or the meeting can be viewed through most web browsers.

 

 

The Mayor and Town Council approved the Department of Public Works to proceed with developing a preliminary plan (50% design) for the proposed William Eley, Jr. Building, which will serve as the new headquarters for the department. The Mayor and Town Council specifically wanted to include the addition of new public meeting space for the community as part of this project. The new public space will be on the second floor of this new building. This is your opportunity to get a preview of the second floor and how the public meeting space is being designed.

 

The Mayor and Town Council will be briefed on the entire building concept as part of the regular monthly Worksession scheduled for Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 7:30 p.m.
