PUBLIC SAFETY WEEKLY UPDATE

December 14, 2023

Dear Residents,

I hope this message finds you well.

Over the past seven days, we've encountered one single verified crime incident, categorized as common vandalism. It's crucial to note that this occurrence should not lead to complacency in our safety measures. The holiday season often sees an uptick in property crimes, especially with valuable gifts left unattended on porches.

I urge each of you to remain watchful and take steps to secure your belongings. Small actions, such as promptly retrieving delivered items, can go a long way in preventing opportunistic crimes.

Let's continue to support one another by keeping an eye out for any suspicious activity and maintaining open lines of communication. Our collective efforts contribute to a safer community, especially during this festive season.

I'm pleased to share that overall crime rates have decreased; however, this doesn't mean we should let our guard down. It's essential that we stay proactive in addressing safety concerns.

If you have any information or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact our police department. Your cooperation is crucial in maintaining a secure and enjoyable living environment.

Thank you for your attention, and let's keep this joyous holiday season safe for everyone.

Sincerely,

Kayce Munyeneh
Mayor
