Details:
The Cheverly Police Department conducts Administrative Hearing Boards in accordance with Maryland Law. Administrative Hearings are conducted at the request of a police officer who exercises their right to contest the findings of an Internal Affairs investigation. Individuals attending/viewing any Administrative Hearing will not be permitted to audio or video record any portion of the proceeding. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in removal from the hearing.
Administrative Case
This hearing will take place each day at Town of Cheverly Town Hall starting Monday, October 23, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (seating limited to 50 persons)
Please Note:
- Doors to the above-listed location will open at 8:30 a.m. Seating will be on a first come, first served basis.
- Taking photographs, videos, or audio recordings of the proceedings is prohibited.
- No food or drink will be permitted in the viewing rooms.
If you plan to attend the hearing board, please check this website daily after 5:00 p.m. to confirm it is still scheduled. An Administrative Hearing may be postponed or canceled if the matter is resolved prior to the scheduled hearing date.
