Juneteenth Celebration and Events

 

Come out to CAACO (@officialcaaco) and the Town of Cheverly’s Juneteenth Celebration! Middle and high schoolers, register as a volunteer and/or text me at 301-636-0845 to register for the POSTER CONTEST!

 

Create a poster about what Juneteenth means to you! This could be a depiction of history, but also could be a poster describing what you most love about the culture or figures in the past or present you particularly admire! This poster should celebrate freedom in your own unique way! There will be 3 winners, and each will receive a $25 gift card on the day of the event! Text or DM me if you need a poster or would like to come work on your project at Town Hall using our supplies! Timing is flexible, just let me know! May the best posters win!
