The closed session, scheduled for Thursday, December 12, 2019, has been updated to follow immediately after the regularly scheduled town meeting.
NOTICE OF CLOSED MEETING
Pursuant to § C-13 of the Town Charter, the Mayor and Council of the Town of Cheverly will convene a closed session meeting, immediately following the regularly scheduled town meeting on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at Cheverly Town Hall, 6401 Forest Road, Cheverly, MD 20785.
Pursuant to Maryland Code, § 3-101 et seq., of the General Provisions Article, the Mayor and Council will meet briefly in open session in order to vote to close the meeting pursuant to
§ 3-305(b)(1), “To discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom this public body has jurisdiction; any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals.”
