Cheverly Pilot Compost Program

The Town of Cheverly, Port Towns, Eco City Farms, and Compost Crew have joined forces to introduce the Pilot Compost Program!

Beginning the first week of June until the end of November, up to 60 residents can participate in our pilot composting program. The program will gather data to help us understand and prepare for the costs of starting a full-time composting program in the Town.

How it Works

1. Complete the webform below to sign up for a spot in the program.

2. You will be notified, via email, by Cheverly staff that you are a part of the program with details on what to expect and next steps.

3. Cheverly Public Works will deliver the composting bins, bags, and instructions provided by Compost Crew to the participating residents' homes at the end of May.

4. Program participants leave the bin at the curb the night before for collection. Every WEDNESDAY, beginning the first week in June, Compost Crew will collect food scraps from the curb.

Schedule updates will be shared by Compost Crew
