 Sanitation Division

The Sanitation Division is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and health of our community through reliable waste management services. This includes weekly curbside collection of household trash, yard waste, and recyclables, as well as bulk trash pickups and leaf collection. The division is committed to environmentally responsible practices and works diligently to ensure Cheverly remains a clean and sustainable place to live.

Garage Division

The Garage Division oversees the maintenance and repair of public works vehicles and equipment, ensuring that the Town’s fleet operates safely and efficiently. From sanitation trucks to snowplowing equipment and public works vehicles, the Garage Division plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations that keep Cheverly running smoothly.

Parks and Grounds Division

Responsible for the care and maintenance of public green spaces, including parks, street trees, medians, and town-owned properties. This division handles tree pruning, grounds care, seasonal landscaping, and beautification projects to ensure Cheverly remains a vibrant and welcoming community.

Public Works Administrative and Operations Department

The Administrative Department serves as the central hub for all Public Works operations in Cheverly. This team manages scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and communications across all divisions, ensuring that services run smoothly and efficiently. They coordinate resident requests, oversee work orders, maintain records, and support strategic planning for infrastructure and community improvements. In addition, the department actively applies for and manages grants that help fund critical public works projects, enhancing the Town’s ability to invest in long-term sustainability and service enhancements.
