Leaf Vacuum Collection Program

Cheverly’s Leaf Vacuum Collection Program provides seasonal curbside leaf removal to help keep our streets clean and safe. Residents must place leaves at the curb by 7:00 AM on their scheduled collection day. Leaves should be free of debris, dry, and not obstruct sidewalks or streets. No collections occur on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Town holidays. Weekly updates and schedule changes are posted under News and Announcements.

Leaf Vacuum Collection Guidelines

Please review the following guidelines to ensure smooth and timely leaf collection:

No vacuum collections take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Town holidays.

Leaves must be placed at the curb by 7:00 AM on your scheduled collection day.

o    Leaves not at the curb on time will not be collected and must be bagged or removed from the collection area.

Do not block sidewalks or streets with leaf piles.

Remove stones, branches, and other hard materials from leaf piles. These items

can damage equipment and cause schedule delays.

Wet or damp leaves will not be collected and may result in delays.

Ensure leaf piles are clearly visible and unobstructed from the street.

If you use a leaf collection service, please share these guidelines with the

      company to avoid missed pickups.

Missed areas will be collected at the end of each cycle, no exceptions.

In case of equipment failures, inclement weather, or other disruptions, weekly

updates will be posted on the Town’s website under News and Announcements.

Note: This year’s collection schedule runs in reverse order from previous years.
