Parking Recommendations at Town Community Center for the May 4th Events

On May 4th, there will be events at the Town Community Center and Town Park in the morning:
- Cheverly Community Market in the upper parking lot at the Community Center
- Cheverly Boys and Girls Club T-Ball at the Field in Town Park (James L. Lang Memorial Field).
Traffic will be heavier than usual due to the construction in the area, and parking will be limited.
To help ensure public safety:
- Do not park where No-parking signs are posted.
- The Community Center's parking lot is closed to traffic. Please do not drive through the Market, as vendors and customers will be in this area.
Considerations from the Market:
- Ride Share: Commute to the market with a friend, so fewer cars need street parking.
- Walking: If you're able and you live close enough, walk to the market to save parking for those coming from farther away.
- Offer A Ride: Provide curbside service to those in need, making the three accessible parking spots available for those without other options.
- Shop Off Peak: 8-9 a.m. and 11 a.m. to noon are the slowest hours of the market, and parking is more likely to be available.
