Guidelines for Special Events

Special Event Permit Request Forms must be submitted 90 days prior to the requested event date.

Date Inquiries

  • Please call Town Hall at 301-773-8360 or email ywhite@cheverly-md.gov to verify date availability before submitting your Special Event Request Form.

Required Documents

If Applicable

  • Diagram
    • If you would like to request Public Works assistance placing equipment before your event, please include details in your Special Event Request Form and attach a Diagram.
    • Gymnasium Diagram Template
    • Outdoor Diagrams are not available at this time. Please do your best to sketch the area of your event and clearly label the location of desired equipment.
  • Key Fob Access
  • Certificate of Insurance
    • A certificate of insurance may be required at the discretion of the Town.
