How and where do I pay fines for tickets or summons issued by the Cheverly Police?

All Maryland Uniform Citations, with the exception of Red Light & Speed Camera violations, Cheverly parking citations, and Cheverly municipal infractions, must be paid to the District Court of Maryland. Instructions for these payments are included on the back of such citations.

Red Light camera violations must be paid directly to the Town of Cheverly, either by mail or in person at the police station, online at link or over the phone at 1-866-790-4111

Speed Camara violations must be paid directly to the Town of Cheverly, either by mail or in person at the police station or online at link

Cheverly parking citations and municipal infractions must be paid directly to the Town of Cheverly, either by mail or in person at the police station, or online at link

Violations that are older than 60 days, or that have been flagged by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration or by the Town-appointed collections agency, cannot be paid by check if paid in the station. Documents that will lift MVA flags or collection summons will be issued by the police department at that time.
