Minutes

 

 

In attendance: Margaret MacDonnell, Joyce Tsepas (left early), Megan Kiel, Jeremy Coon, Abel Olivo, RJ Eldridge, Laila Riazi; Brian [last name?]

1. Review and approve December meeting minutes

            PB wanted attendees added to December minutes and a notation that the updates from the Mayor were provided by Margaret, who had received the updates from the Mayor previously

 

2. Discussion of/response to proposed zoning amendments

            Members discussed various concerns and potential changes to the proposed zoning.  Members will meet to write up recommendations for Council, to be provided by February work session.  Margaret will contact members to identify a date for that meeting.

 

3. Updates on old business

    a. New date for Council presentation

            Council has not settled on a date.  It will likely be discussed in the January work session

    b. Maryland meeting on 495/270 public/private partnership (and tie in to 295)

            Meeting was postponed.  Jeremy will check with his contact from the Park Service regarding any updates on the possible transfer of 295 to Maryland

    c. Walden Sierra letter to county council--sent? any further word? 

            Letter has not been sent. 

    d. Kilmer Park status 

            Agreement with NDC has been finalized.  They will likely begin work in the spring.

    e. Small cell aesthetic guidelines

            Laila will give the county’s proposed regulations to Megan, who will compare them to the Town’s.

 

4. Other:

            PB agreed to have a table at the Neighbor Meet and Greet at the American Legion on 1/25/20.  Margaret will email PB members to determine who will be available.
