RESOLUTION R-6-13

Town of Cheverly

 

Authorizing the Annexation Plan

For the Purpose of Providing Services

As Required by 4-415 of the Local Government Article of the Maryland Code)

 

        WHEREAS, the Town of Cheverly is seeking to annex property referred to as Lots 1-14 Block 2 (8750) and Lot 1 Block 15 of the Tuxedo Subdivision; and

        

        WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council have been provided an annexation plan as prepared by Town Staff; and

 

        WHEREAS, the Town of Cheverly has provided the Prince George’s County Council, the  Department of Planning of the MNCP&PC, the County and the Maryland Department of Planning with a copy of the Annexation Plan; and

 

        WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council hereby adopt annexation plan for the area proposed to be annexed;

 

        NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, this 12th day of December, 2013, by the Mayor and Town Council that the annexation plan be adopted for the property to be annexed on behalf of the Town of Cheverly.
