Reminder: Officer Swearings-In

Cheverly Police Department
CPD Patch

Please join us as we welcome two new officers, and one promoted officer, into their new positions with the Cheverly Police Department.

Tonight, December 12, at the scheduled town hall meeting, our department will have the pleasure of swearing-in Lieutenant Georgia Miltenberger, Sergeant Spencer White, and Lateral Officer Jeffrey Fabbri.

  • Georgia Miltenberger will join us, having previously served as the Chief of Police for both Colmar Manor and Seat Pleasant, as the department’s second-in-command. Miltenberger’s swearing-in will be the first time, in the department’s 88-year history, that a female, or African American, has served in the position of Lieutenant.
  • Spencer White will join the department’s supervisory staff as its newest Patrol Sergeant. As an internal promotion, Spencer White brings with him sustained knowledge of the department’s policies and procedures. In total, White has more than 5 years of law enforcement experience.
  • Jeffrey Fabbri, having served previously as an officer in Virginia, comes to the department as its newest lateral officer.

An informal reception, with light refreshments, will be held before the town hall meeting, starting at 7:15 PM. This is the perfect time to come out a meet not only the newest members of our department, but also catch up with our current department members.
