POLICE ACTIVITY in the area of Lombard St and Montrose Rd.

Officers are seeking a subject who fled from the Bladensburg Police Department. The suspect is believed to be a short black male with dread locks who is wanted in conjunction with a warrant for 2nd degree assault. The individual initially fled during a traffic stop at the intersection of Landover Rd and Cheverly Ave towards the area of Montrose Road, Laurel Ave, and Lombard St. The suspect does not appear to be a threat to the community.
