Nicole Bryner (she/her) has lived in Cheverly with her husband and two children since 2014. She is honored to serve her community as Ward 3 Councilmember, having first been elected to Council for the 2019-2021 term and then reelected in 2023.In addition to her duties as Councilmember, Nicole also serves on the Legislative Committee of the Prince George’s County Municipal Association. She co-led the 2020 Cheverly Census Committee, and has served on the executive boards of the Cheverly Police Chief's Advisory Board (PCAB) and Progressive Cheverly.
Outside of Cheverly, Nicole has two decades of experience in the federal and nonprofit sectors as a museum and theatre educator. She has worked at the Smithsonian Institution for ten years, and previously worked at Ford’s Theatre, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Folger Shakespeare Library.
Nicole holds a Master’s degree in Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from Franklin & Marshall College.
