Power Line Damage and Road Closure on State Street

A fallen tree in the 6100 block of State Street damaged a Pepco power line. As a result, this section of the road will be closed until further notice.

Prince George’s County Fire Board and Pepco have been notified. The Cheverly Police Department is currently on scene managing the situation.

Please avoid the area and follow all posted detours and safety instructions.
