Update: Power Line Damage and Road Closure on State Street

A fallen tree in the 6100 block of State Street previously damaged a Pepco power line, resulting in a temporary road closure.
The roadway has been reopened, and there are no obstructions at this time. Town contractor, Excel are onsite to finish removing the remaining tree debris from the sidewalk and the nearby home. The Cheverly Police Department remains engaged and continues to monitor the area for safety.
