1. Peace Month Schedule
Decision Required: None.
        
The Mayor and Council addressed this matter in 2013 and amended the Code to allow apiaries in the Cheverly Garden.  The Council is being asked to lift the ban on private lots.

2. Grant Application – Judith P. Hoyer School
Decision Required: Whether to approve.

3. Grant Application – Green Infrastructure Committee
Decision Required: Whether to approve.

5. Discussion – 6301 Kilmer Street
Decision Required: Whether to proceed.

The Town has hired an architect to review the property and structures.  The Town Administrator has recommendations to move forward.

6. Discussion – Commercial Parking & Corner Lots
Decision Required: Whether to address.

A situation has become an issue with a commercial vehicle being parked on a corner lot BACK yard that affects person’s FRONT yards.  The Mayor and Council are being asked to address this matter in a way similar to that of fences on corner lots.

7. Cheverly Avenue Curbs, Gutters and Sidewalks
Decision Required: Whether to pursue.

At the last Worksession, Mr. Torres’ proffer that the Town normally looks to improve the infrastructure along roadways we pave.  We are not doing the paving on Cheverly Avenue, but he would like authorization to improve the infrastructure, which would require a budget adjustment. Attached are the requested estimates.


8. Discussion Noise Ordinance Procedures
Decision Required: Whether to accept recommendations.
        
The Town Administrator looked at the policy and procedures and found a requirement regarding addressing a noise ordinance complaint that is linked back to the Code and should be discussed as to whether it needs to be changed.

9. FY17 Budget and Capital Improvement Program
Decision Required: None.

The Mayor and Council have been in receipt of the Department of Public Works and the Police Department CIP requests since January and the have prepared memorandums describing the needs of each Department for items that should be considered in the FY17 Capital Improvement Program Budget.  The proposed FY17 Budget was distributed at the March Worksession and should be brought to the meeting for additional discussion.  

10. Approval of Letter – Regarding Wal-Mart Expansion
Decision Required: Whether to approve.
        
The Mayor has prepared a position paper for approval.   

11. Approval of Letter to County Council – Regarding Cheverly Sector Plan
Decision Required: Whether to approve.
        
The Mayor has prepared a position paper for approval.

12. Discussion – Personnel Matter
Decision Required: None.
        
The Town Administrator is going to provide an update on a number of personnel issues.
