On Cheverly Day, June 11th, Cheverly will host the 2nd Annual Cicada Crunch 5K Run and 2K Fun Walk. Over 300 people are expected to take part in this event.
Temporary street closures will be necessary between 10:00 and 10:45AM on Saturday, June 11th. We kindly ask for your patience during the run as we hope to make Cheverly the proud hosts of this event for many years to come. If your house is directly on the race course, we kindly ask that you move your vehicles off the streets between 10 and 10:45AM if possible. Car mobility also will be very difficult inside the affected area at this time. If you have any questions, please call the race director at 301-773-0912.
This will be a fun event for Cheverly! Please come outside, if it’s a hot day you might turn your lawn sprinklers into the street, and CHEER on the runners!
