Scholarship: The Prince George’s Boys and Girls Club is accepting applications for the Tommy Long Scholarship. The Tommy Long Scholarship was established by Mr. "Sonny" Long in honor of his son who was killed in an automobile accident at the age of 14. There are two $2,000.00 awards each year – one for a girl and one for a boy. More information and applications are available from the Prince George’s Boys and Girls Club. Tee-Ball, Softball and Baseball: All of the teams have been formed, practices have begun and games will be played soon. Good luck to everyone!
Uniforms: Would everyone please check to see if you have an old county uniform in a closet or dresser drawer? We seem to be missing 75% of our stock. If you do happen to find one, send it to us in a plastic bag (preferably in a newspaper bag.) We will happily accept them at our next meeting on Tuesday, May 17th, 8PM. Or… you can bring the uniforms to our practices at Town Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 -7:30, or our practices at Gladys Noon Spellman on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30.
Soccer: It’s not too early to be thinking about fall soccer. We will begin our “warm-up” practices in August. Please check our website for more details. www.cheverlybgc.com.
Registration: To make our everyday lives a little easier… we now have our Registration Form online! For 2005, children born in 1999 and later may join the club

If this is the first time that you are registering with the club, we ask that you come to a meeting. You will need to bring a small picture of your child (wallet-size school picture), a copy of their birth certificate, and proof of your address.
