Registration
Cheverly Weekday Nursery School will be accepting applications for the 2005-2006 school year. This five day a week preschool program located at the Cheverly United Methodist church offers developmentally appropriate activities for children, ages 3-5.
The child is given the freedom to grow and learn in an environment balanced with enough guidance and structure for each child to feel secure. The school environment is designed to develop independent thinking, encourage self-sufficiency, instill a love of learning, improve social and emotional skills and achieve math and reading readiness for kindergarten.
There are three options available to families: morning session (8:45-11:15), afternoon session (12:30-3:00) and an all day program (8:45-3:00). For more information, please contact Nancy McGuirk, director, at 301-773-2297.
Open House
The Nursery School will host an Open House on Wednesday, March 2nd, from 7:30-8:30PM in their classrooms on the third floor of the Cheverly United Methodist Church.
