Cheverly Day is only 4 months away! In previous newsletters, we have solicited ideas for new events and attractions. Our meeting on February 8th at 7:30PM in town hall is the absolute last call for new ideas that will be pursued by the committee.
Cheverly Day Entertainment: We are still looking for the local artists to round out Cheverly Day’s "Stage 2". Throughout the day, local, amateur and semi-pro musicians of every style will present their music and their compositions for Cheverly Day. If you are a musician, a composer or a friend of one of any age, we invite and encourage you to submit a brief description of your proposed presentation, your background and a demo on CD, tape, DVD, or MP3 to alan@cheverlyday.com. Performance slots run 15-50 minutes throughout the day. All styles and ages welcome. Hear you at Cheverly Day!
Cheverly Day Program Book: We are always looking for ideas for news features for the Cheverly Day program. We want the program to be an item that is kept on coffee tables or in the bookshelf, not tossed away on June 11th. We hope that many of you still have your 2004 edition, but if you don’t, we’re going to try our best to make the 2005 book one that you won’t soon throw out! Suggestions for
ideas – deadline March 15th to bill@cheverlyday.com. Want to write the story yourself? Copy deadline is April 15th to ensure consideration. If you are writing something specifically for the Cheverly Day publication, please drop a line to bill@cheverlyday.com to ensure that your idea hasn’t already been covered and will receive fair consideration for publication.
