Cheverly is a great place to raise a family! The CPRC is here to support you and your family by providing valuable information and helping you and your young children develop long-lasting relationships. We publish a bi-monthly newsletter; hold parenting workshops, deliver welcome and new baby baskets to neighbors, and have an email listserv for families to share information.
We have many plans underway for this spring, including family potlucks, a pontoon boat on the Anacostia, a camping trip, and our annual "Spring Fling". (All these events take place on the weekends so working parents may attend.) Our drop-in playgroup meets Mondays and Fridays 10:30 to 12:30 at the Gast Park (good weather) or the Community Center gym (poor weather).
